One thing I noticed though was the countdown (around 30 mins) didn’t change at all, but it finished in around 15 mins (80MB per second transfer speed according to Migration). (Migration only gives you the main user folder options, you cannot go into sub folders and select them).

On Windows I moved just the audio archive folder to the empty “Videos” user folder so nothing extra was slowing the transfer. Then after configuring some “Apple Music”(previously iTunes) application preferences (disable auto-add/convert to iTunes folder etc), I proceeded with “Migration” using hard-wire Ethernet cable following Apple’s instructions.

I am using my MacBook Pro with an AQ DragonFly (mobile) or a NuForce Icon HDP+u192s (home) and it's great to be able to use the track skip (RW/FF), play/pause and volume controls again on the keyboard. well executed, transparent app! I have finally woken up from my PureMusic user experience nightmare. Changed the file name in Get Info and played 1.06 to my heart's content. Finally, the App Store DL'd the new version which appeared as 1.04 in my applications folder. To get the App Store to DL 1.06 to my Mac Mini where I had various versions after 1.04 took a bit of negotiating. Hopefully it will actually show up on the App Store sometime soon!

There are several reasons why BitPerfect may not be controlling playback: If it does not turn green, then BitPerfect is not controlling playback. When BitPerfect is playing (and hog mode is in operation) BitPerfect's status bar icon turns green. With BitPerfect, hog mode is automatically selected when BitPerfect is playing.
